MASSIVE FUNDRAISER BRINGS TOGETHER ACCLAIMED CHEFS

(Anaheim White House Hosts Banquet to Benefit Local Motel Kids)

More than two dozen acclaimed chefs will converge at the Anaheim White House for a culinary fundraiser benefiting Orange County's motel children on Thursday, April 26 starting at 7 p.m. Among the luminaries who will perform cooking demonstrations in the garden area of the popular Orange County dining establishment during cocktail hour will be Ryan Carson of the “touring” restaurant ‘Pri-ve, Wendie Huffman of Ten Asian Bistro, Jamie Gwen of “The Chef Jamie Radio Show” on KFWB 980, Susan Irby of Bikini Lifestyles on 790 KABC, Jeff Mahin of Stella Rossa Pizza Bar, Octavio Montoya of the Laguna Culinary Arts Café, Anahita Naderi formerly of Mélisse, Christophe Happilon of The Oyster Gourmet and Laurent Brazier, executive chef instructor for Laguna Culinary Arts.

Guests then will enjoy a 5-course dinner prepared by Whitehouse Executive Chef Eddie Mezza, Michel Blanchet of the Small Smoked Seafood Company, Jean Pierre Dubray formerly of the Ritz Carlton San Francisco, Pascal Olhats of Pascal Restaurant, Le Toques Blanche International Chef of the Year Pierre Sauvaget and Maurice Brazier, who is in charge of the White House's catering division and whose background includes serving royalty from around the world. Tickets are $250 each and all proceeds will benefit Caterina’s Club, a nonprofit founded by the restaurant's owner Bruno Serato. He has earned international acclaim for his humanitarian work including being named one of CNN's Heroes last year for having served more than 330,000 hot meals to OC's "motel kids" (so named because they are the children of the working poor who are relegated to living in rundown motels) during the past 7 years.
